Floors and Support Rails

The floors are designed to be a stronger more durable system than the original.  The floor panel is made of #18 cold rolled steel, while the floor support is made of 1/16" cold rolled steel.  The 240Z floors were designed as a replication of the original floor of the 240Z with all bends, undulations, holes, and forms being duplicated.  These, along with the 280Z and 280ZX floors, will replace the original floors.  The length of the floor is designed to run from the front seam, where it meets the firewall, continuing back to the rear seam behind the seat.  (The installer has the option of trimming the excess material at the rear of the 240Z floor and at the front of the 280Z and 280ZX floor.)  The width of the floor starts where the original floor was spot welded to the side rails.  On the transmission tunnel side, there is approximately a 2" buffer that carries up the transmission tunnel.  Professional installation is recommended.

The floor system can be purchased and shipped as a single unit or dealers may purchase larger quantities.
